המחאות באיראן התחדשו בסוף השבוע לאחר מספר שבועות ונכנסו היום (ראשון) ליומם השני. בדומה להפגנות בהחלו בסוף דצמבר, גם הפעם התיעודים שעולים לרשתות החברתיות נראים קיצוניים יותר מיום ליום.

הטרמינולוגיה של המפגינים נשארה זהה כשהם קוראים נגד המנהיג העליון וחברי המשטר. כתבנו דור בלאזאדה אף דיווח כי כוחות המשטר עצרו מרצה בכיר באחת מהאוניברסיטאות.

על פי התיעודים, המחאות עדיין לא יצאו מגבולות הקמפוסים ועדיין מבוצעות בעיקר על ידי סטודנטים. גם בפעם נראים עימותים פיזיים בין המפגינים לבין כוחות הבסיג' שנשלחו עלך ידי המשטר כדי לדכא אותם מחדש.
